The Spiral Jetty (shore of the Great Salt Lake)

Brief video clip from a larger documetary project I am working on about The Spiral Jetty.

Shot on a PXL-2000 during the summer of 2003.

Not shown in this clip is the fact that the Jetty, at the time, was submerged under 1-3 feet of the warmest pink waters and covered by wind-driven foam, like frothy snow.

This video feeds directly into the archive of my mind and unlocks that dusty moment, bringing past time and place together once more = to relive those moments again how they felt rather than how there appeared, while we may have been standing in pink water in the rain, the broken pxl image acurately represents how this memory feels now.
